Many retriever enthusiasts pursue their passion not only during the relatively short hunting seasons but also in the field trial arena during the balance of the year. Participation allows owners the ability to fine tune their canine partners hunting skills, enjoy the company of like minded fellow sportsmen, and measure their athlete’s progress against a set of defined standards. Successful participants are recognized for their level of achievement with a variety of awards. The Hunting Retriever Club, HRC, and the American Kennel Club, AKC, are arguably the most popular events based on entry levels at numerous weekend trials regularly scheduled throughout the nation. In addition, both organizations hold prestigious national events for which a dog must be qualified in order to enter.

HRC holds their GRAND events twice a year as in the spring and fall while AKC puts on their MASTER NATIONAL only once in the fall. Entrants are tested against very challenging hunting simulations and those that pass are recognized as elite whereby awarded National Champion Titles. As the great ones only come along every so often, those who are fortunate enough to stand beside one that has earned a National Title will want to commemorate and preserve the memory. The GRAND hand made displays help you do exactly that.
